Goldstein: Eighty Percent of Healthcare Costs Stem From Five Preventable Chronic Conditions

Frederic S. Goldstein, president of U.S. Preventive Medicine, Inc. He states,"  United States can no longer afford a system where 70 percent of all U.S. deaths and 80 percent of U.S. health care costs stem from the same five preventable chronic conditions."  Goldstein  believes that the government most serve as the catalyst to the healthcare paradigm shift from reactive to proactive care. He adds that preventive and proactive care will save millions and make our workforce more competitive on the global market.
