University Partnership Program
This video was produced by multimedia students Jamie Schiller, Sean Patchett and Evelyn Lau from the University of Iowa.
OurBlook's University Partnership Program prepares students for the real world by providing professors with free, customized Web, technology, interactive research and social media training for their classrooms.
The program features virtual interviews with experts on a variety of topics chosen by the professor. OurBlook staff members secure the interviews, set up virtual student projects as well as offer advice on open-source options and technology.
Students in the University Partnership Program are able to acquire the new media skills they need to survive the digital revolution while expanding their portfolios and gaining real world experience.
"OurBlook project was definitely beneficial and I would recommend it again! ...(T)he interview kept me constantly involved with the subject of the class and always interested."
"(OurBlook) interviews were insightful and exciting. I have become pretty good friends with my interviewee and feel comfortable contacting her in the future."
"I really enjoyed the OurBlook experience rather than a term paper. I think it allowed more interaction and was much more interesting."
